XVII. Worldly gifts

“Every person at birth receives a special gift. Our gift comes from the soul and we should receive and accept it with love, because it has been given to us in order to aid our evolution”.

I opened my eyes very early. It was the lovely and placid voice that had awoken me, whispering very sweetly from inside of me.

“My small immortal soul, if you think that the world does not believe in you then believe in the world”.

At that moment I felt something very special, all my doubts left me and I knew that the time had arrived to believe in myself and in those around me with the knowledge that together we would be able to change things.

When the souls of the Universe were created, our Creator put at their disposal the gifts that were necessary for their development and spiritual growth. Every person at birth brings with him a special gift that is given as an aid to learning, development and growth in a spiritual way. The said gift or ability is given to us as a power, so we need to cultivate it so that it grows and reveals itself strongly in our lives.

In spite of this, we can sometimes appear to revolt against our gift and not accept it, thinking of it as a punishment. This undoubtedly comes from the fact that at that time we lack the maturity for dealing with such a responsibility.

Our gifts come from the soul and they shouldn’t be undervalued or rejected. We should accept and receive them with love, feeling confident in the knowledge that they have been given to us in order to help with our evolution and that it’s for our own benefit as well as benefiting others.

Before our journey into the spiritual world we make a series of plans, amongst which there are various choices as to how we would like this short period of learning to go by. We choose our parents, the society in which we would like to grow, the perfect conditions for us to try and progress, we focus on key moments, those that we call destiny and were turning points in our lives.

Together with all this all the gifts that we own in our spiritual condition, of which there are many and have many variations, we also choose one or another of them so that they can support and help us with our learning on this side. However, because of our freedom we can then develop or use them in a way that we think suits us best or simply not use them at all. By refusing this amazing extra ability, or by not using it wisely, we are doing something that we will not be proud of in the future.

In spite of this, on returning to this world, one could think that it doesn’t have anything to do with it, and being convinced of that, forgets to bring ones gift with him. That is not possible. Each one of
